Ocean Responsibility by Design
As the WE7 AI ecosystem grows, we take responsibility for supporting verified blue carbon ecosystem restoration — transparently and at company level.
Restoration is not a carbon offset or neutrality claim.

Why This Matters
90% of ocean ecosystems have been destroyed in the last 50 years. Meanwhile, digital marketing generates 3.8% of global CO₂ emissions — more than aviation. We're not just reducing harm, we're actively regenerating the planet.
Oceans absorb 30% of CO₂ and produce 50% of oxygen. Restoring ocean habitats doesn't just help marine life — it's one of the most effective ways to combat climate change.
Our Commitment: WE7 AI prioritizes reducing marketing-related emissions at the source. For unavoidable residual impact, we allocate part of company revenue to verified blue carbon ecosystem restoration and report this transparently in aggregate.
How Our Ecosystem Supports Blue Carbon
From smarter marketing decisions to ocean restoration — every customer becomes part of a regenerative innovation loop.
Carbon-First Intelligence
Every campaign decision runs through our carbon signal engine — surfacing waste, risk, and impact before a single dollar is spent.
Customers as Ocean Advocates
Every WE7 customer automatically contributes to blue carbon restoration. Your marketing spend directly funds verified ocean conservation projects.
Blue Carbon Ecosystem
We partner with certified blue carbon initiatives — seagrass meadows, mangroves, and kelp forests — turning marketing efficiency into measurable ocean impact.
Regenerative Innovation
Our model is circular by design: better marketing decisions reduce emissions, fund ocean restoration, and create compounding positive impact — not offsets.
How Responsibility Is Embedded in the WE7 AI System

Paid Participation
Paid customers sustain the WE7 AI platform and long-term system resilience.
Responsibility Layer
WE7 AI takes responsibility at company level by supporting verified blue carbon ecosystem restoration — without usage-based or per-user equivalency.
Why Mangrove Forests?
One of the world's most underappreciated and most powerful ecosystems.
Mangrove forests are located along tropical coastlines and are among the most carbon-rich forests on Earth per hectare. Despite covering only 0.1% of the planet's surface, research shows that 14% of all coastal carbon sequestration is thanks to mangrove forests.
Yet 30–50% of global mangroves have already been lost to land conversion, illegal logging, and coastal development. That's why WE7 AI's ocean responsibility commitment focuses entirely on mangrove restoration — where the impact is greatest and most measurable.
Our Ocean Restoration Partner: SeaTrees
All WE7 AI restoration efforts are supported through SeaTrees verified blue carbon projects. Contributions are managed at company level and disclosed transparently in aggregate.
No per-user, per-search, or per-campaign equivalency is claimed.
WE7 AI does not sell carbon credits, offsets, or neutrality claims. Restoration is a responsibility mechanism, not a product feature.
Mangrove Planting — Marereni, Kenya
Restoring and protecting 640 hectares of highly degraded mangrove forest in Kilifi County, with 790,000 trees to be planted alongside the local community.
Community Employment
Local communities are employed to grow seedlings, collect propagules, plant trees, and monitor growth — creating meaningful jobs for 200+ people.
Coastal Protection
Restored mangroves protect local villages from storm surges, sea-level rise, and coastal erosion while supporting critical fish nursery habitats.
Verra VCS Verified
All restoration is third-party verified through the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and transparently reported in aggregate.
Marereni Mangrove Project
Kilifi County, Kenya, 640 Hectares
We're proud to have partnered with SeaTrees to plant mangroves at the Marereni project site in Kenya. This project restores and protects 640 hectares of highly degraded mangrove forest within Kilifi County, with 790,000 mangrove trees to be planted in partnership with COBEC (Community Based Environmental Conservation) and the local community.
COBEC works with local villages to strategically replant mangroves in deforested areas. These communities are educated about the environmental and economic importance of the ecosystems and are employed to grow seedlings, collect mangrove propagules, plant mangroves, and monitor the growth of the trees.
Every mangrove tree planted:
Creates meaningful employment for more than 200 people
Provides resources for local education
Protects local villages from storm surges and sea-level rise
Serves as critical nursery grounds for fish and shellfish
Sequesters approximately 300kg of CO₂ over 25 years
Restores habitat for fish, turtles, baboons, monkeys, and flamingos
Over the last several years, the mangrove forests within the Marereni region were destroyed by land conversion, poaching, and illegal logging — leading to loss of biodiversity, increased coastal erosion, and degradation of critical habitats. The regeneration of these forests will reestablish these ecosystems for many years to come.
We Practice What We Preach: WE7 AI's SDG Alignment
We don't just tell enterprises to align with UN Sustainable Development Goals — we live them ourselves. WE7 AI directly ties these same regenerative frameworks we provide to our customers.

The Bigger Picture
Ocean restoration is just the beginning. Our real mission is to help marketing teams reduce their carbon footprint at the source through smarter targeting, optimized channels, and less wasted impressions. We move beyond reduction alone by taking responsibility for ecosystem restoration — without claiming neutrality or offsets.
